  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves (no stems) or 50/50 spinach and basil
  • 1 tablespoon pine nuts or cashews
  • 1 large garlic raw
  • 1/8 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 cube of SP2
  • (optional) 1/8 cup grated cheese

Combine basil leaves, spinach, nuts, and garlic in a food processor and process until very finely minced. With the machine running slowly dribble in the oil and process until the mixture is smooth. Add the cheese and process very briefly, just long enough to combine. Store in the refrigerator until you are ready to use over your favorite protein, pasta, or pasta substitute.
