The challenges of endurance sports, whether you’re tackling an Ironman triathlon, running a half marathon or powering through an after-work mountain bike ride, can be demanding on the body. Treat your joints and aches with an SP2 Spirulina Carrot, Ginger and Tumeric smoothie to ease the pains associated with endurance sports (and treat yourself to this zesty, tropical and nutritious smoothie containing essential vitamins, minerals, and clean sources of protein).

Ingredients

  • 1 cube of SP2 Spirulina
  • 1 blood or navel orange, peel and white pith removed
  • 1 large carrot, scrubbed, coarsely chopped
  • ½ cup frozen mango chunks
  • ⅔ cup coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon shelled raw hemp seeds
  • ¾ teaspoon finely grated peeled ginger
  • 1½ teaspoons finely grated peeled turmeric
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Pinch of kosher salt

Directions

  1. Blend together in a high-speed blender
